If you are the managing partner in charge of a law firm or you have the task of marketing for a practice group or firm, then I want to take a few minutes to talk to you about the future of marketing for your firm.

My name is Francis McGovern and I started Qlegal in 2007, to help firms such as yours navigate the waters of online marketing. At Qlegal, we provide a full service marketing offering and work with small to mid sized firms and help them succeed and get results in competitive niche areas.  We carefully analyze a client’s competitive profile and develop a strategy that’s designed to advance the firm in the direction of sustainable marketing results.

I know that you get a lot of solicitations from companies big and small looking to help you with marketing, but have you ever wondered why? The answer is beyond the obvious. There’s money to be made of course, but there is a need for law firms to market their services, because if they don’t they will not get work. Law firm marketing is extremely competitive and even more so online.

Do you know how best to market your firm into the future? I believe that future is going to play out online through search and social media and video and new and different technology, some of which has not even arrived yet.

Depending whether or not you have started to market your firm. You need to have a strategy that targets prospective clients from an advertising and from a organic effort. There’s what advertising you buy and how targeted it is and there are organic marketing efforts that are performed on your Website and social media presence all designed to enhance your find-ability. You need to choose the right tactics and outpace your competitors. You need to have a responsive website that illustrates the dynamic capability of your firm and then a content strategy that tells story of your firm in an engaging way that both educates and interests your potential clients.

I would like to help you develop that strategy. I have worked with many firms many over 5 or 10 years. We have a process that works but it requires dedicated efforts for your marketing, and you have to do it every day.
